WeShould — turn “we should” into a night that actually happens
Every group chat is a graveyard of great ideas. WeShould takes one badly-typed sentence — “curry and karaoke Friday, £20 each” — and turns it into a night your friends have actually agreed to: a date everyone can do, a place, a rough cost each and a confirmation in the calendar.
How it works
- You type the idea, however roughly.
- We read the dates, the money and the activity out of it.
- Your friends tap the nights that work — in a browser, with no account and nothing to install.
- You lock it in, and everyone gets the confirmation and a reminder.
Common questions
- Do my friends need the app?
- No. You send a link, they tap the nights that work in their browser and close the tab. Only the organiser installs anything.
- Is WeShould free?
- Yes — free to organise with, and free for everyone you invite.
- Is it on Android?
- Not yet. It is on iPhone today, and anyone on Android can still answer, see the plan and get reminders from the link in the chat.
- Is any of this public?
- No. There is no feed, no profiles and no directory. Plans are only visible to the people sent the link.
- What does it actually do that a group chat doesn't?
- It holds the decision still: one question, a visible tally of who is in, a deadline, and a confirmed date, place and cost at the end of it.
- How is it different from a date poll?
- A poll stops at the date. This carries on to the place, the rough cost each, the reminder and the calendar entry.
